Knitting Pattern for a Summery Sweater with a cable pattern and drop stitches for a breezy look, a round neck with a double folded collar in twisted ribbing in sizes XS/S | M (L | XL) 2XL | 3XL.

Structure:
The sweater is worked with raglan increases top down: First, the yoke is worked back and forth in rows to shape the round neck. After joining the front parts, the yoke is worked in rounds until the sleeves are separated from the body. The body is then finished in rounds and finally a hem in twisted ribbing is attached to the body. After picking up the sleeve stitches, the sleeves are worked in rounds too and finished with a cuff in 1x1 twisted ribbed pattern. There are no decreases to shape the sleeves or the body to obtain a wide, breezy and summery look (but the pattern includes instructions for tight cuffs). Finally, stitches are picked up along the round neck and a double folded hem in twisted ribbing is attached to the neckline and makes the look of the sweater complete.
The entire sweater is worked in a cable pattern alternated with drop stitches. The cable pattern is worked on the raglan lines as well for an interesting and modern look. The combination of cables and drop stitches creates an innovative, breezy and summery look.
The fit of the sweater is oversized with a positive ease of 10 to 20 cm. The length is cropped to make it work out best for high waisted jeans, pants and skirts. The highlight of the sweater is the combination of the classic cable pattern and the breezy drop stitches, which create the perfect summer sweater for every knitter.
